ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWAH - Music:"'Libera Me' From Hell (ROW ROW FIGHT DA OPERA)" from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Cross-posted from DeviantART, 'cause I'm a lazy bastard.
So, Nuclear Fiction 1 finally appeared in the Scorpion's Tale. Disappointingly enough, they cut it in two and put all the panels horizontally to fit the layout. This would have been fine if they had told me, considering I gave them a message to contact me if such changes would be made. I would've preferred editing it myself, but hey. Lessons learned for next time. Anyway, what really bothered me was a bit of text they cut off from the bottom. Y'know, a little thing called legal information. Fun, eh? But hey, I don't need to rant about poor editorial communication on the internet. This is my place to frolic and become deeply disturbed, not whine and be emo when I've been having such a great time. So, just what have I been up to? Researching. Studying as much as I can before I pay terrible amounts of money for paint and other such things. As though Gundam models themselves aren't expensive enough. -_- At least I'm not going to airbrush. Well, that's good and bad. It's harder to get instructional support online this way because most major Gunpla (a dorky term for Gundam models) builders use airbrushes. I'm shooting to use Tamiya spray paints in an effort to get an airbrush-like texture without the 200 dollar air compressor. My Master Grade 1/100 scale GP01 came in two nights ago, but I won't be touching that until I destroy some no grade kits. It's all in the name of science, I assure you. What else...? Oh yeah, winter break for me is next Thursday, after I take my History and Spanish finals. Sadly, since my Spanish class is at night, my vacation doesn't officially begin 'til 8:00 PM that day. I'm thinking of getting a many a thing done, including finally getting Hideaki to 60 and Ziggith to some reasonable level (lol World of Warcraft), putting some kits together, writing a bit, drawing a LOT, and hopefully getting to Florida in some decent manner. Considering I have five weeks off, I have no excuse not to accomplish something. And just what have I been drawing lately? As always, I'm playing catch-up with myself. Gotta finish the Gunkitty Ver. 2, which has been sitting on my desk for ages, rewrite Nuclear Fiction 2 to fit the layout, and do multiple other things. I did recently finish a slight shounen-ai pic of Kyon and Itsuki from Haruhi, nothing major. And crap, I've gotta prepare for Christmas, 'cause people are greedy bastards. Oh, who am I kidding? I want a freakin' Revoltech VF-1S Strike Valkyrie Movie Ver. I'm... difficult. So, that's my mental state at 6 AM for you, now quit yelling at me to update.

Greetings, true believers. Believers of what, I have no clue. How goes it? I understand that I have not updated in a while. Returning to the realm of LiveJournal, I am shocked and appalled to see that the only persons that have truly posted are Gio and Daniel. So what does that mean? Sigmund, to the Rantmobile!

My lord, I'm already half way through ninth grade. Since when was I in bloody highschool? Is the time going by so quickly? Pfft, I could care less about time. Bring on the summer! When I'm not playing World of Warcraft (Fear my priest! Fear him and his squishy way of life!), I'm actually being productive! This is definitely a first for me, so rejoicing is in order. For once I've been reading things, from the translation of the novella "Gundam Sentinel" to "Me Talk Pretty One Day" to "Stupid Mistakes that have Changed History". I'm thinking about ordering Jack "LOL Lawyer!" Thompson's new book. I hear it was Amazon Bomb'd by a bunch of vengeful gamers. I've also been drawing, currently working on a comic explaining evolution and animal adaptations for biology. Mrs. Sparks rocks. On 4chan I have migrated from the brain-melting world of hentai to the calm and nerdy world of /m/, discussing mecha and sharing our giant robot schematics. I feel like I'm actually doing something with my life for once. That makes me happy. Well, only a tad bit more happy compared to the perpetual joy brought on by Kellie. <3 <3 <3 Yes, I'm hopeless. Deal with it. What else... Oh yeah, I have become an eBay shopper! I got a Dreamcast! ^_^ I also have no money! YAY! Yup... Well, that's about it for now. I have to get back to class, so I might update a bit more later. If you're reading this, I love you Kellie! Please get better soon... Lance out.
REMINDER: Valentine's Day is in two weeks. Don't be an ass.

Well, apparently I’m the new center of attention for the females of my Algebra II class. And don’t kill me, it’s not like that. Kallaus is out for the week, so there has been a good deal of socialization in the class. Matt moved in the back to talk to… that guy that sits next to Lauren. With that, Lauren moved next to me for the period. She was the second to discover my dedication to Kellie in my agenda (the first being Matt). After seeing the nearly endless wave of “I love Kellie”, she showed Audra and questioned me. Storytelling is fun. ^_^ The females that had crowded around me were chanting “Aw…” in unity. My face must have been beat red. Of course, more questions were asked and they showered me in praise for my ability to keep chivalry alive in this day and age. I’m now obligated to bring in a picture of the both of us. I can’t say I’ve heard the word cute used more often than in those ten minutes other than in phone conversations with my beloved. Matt and Whatshisname were saying countless jokes of what I should do when Kellie gets here, including picking her up naked in a limo, and questioned if she’s a pirate. I didn’t give an answer, so then they discussed our Ninja/Pirate offspring. “Fwoosh, fwoosh, fwoosh, ARGH!!!” Lauren and the others did have some good advice for what I should do in the situation. Hm… So I’ve closed the gap between the airheads and myself, finally. That makes me feel good. I guess I really should quit calling them that, though. They were all very intrigued and overwhelmed with cuteness from our love story, though. I hope to share much more with them. To the Kelric fan club!
Oh, Lauren’s antiMySpace too! Viva la revolution!

So, what’s been going on? Well, I’ve been in the state of Nevada for three months. Whoop-dee-doo. Let’s start with classes. First period I have English. I just love starting off the day with this class. Great students, Canadian teacher (Yay, Canadia!), and great class, even though it’s more literature history than writing and grammar. I just wish I can do some creative writing assignments. Nonetheless, I get to read with funny accents and Henry, one of few companions, sits close by. I give it an A. Next we have CS. We’re learning Visual Basic. Yay, Microsoft Application programming. Bill Gates must have some division in Microsoft just for finding new ways to piss people off. Actually, that’d be a pretty cool job. But back on topic, my programming class is boring as all hell, but the feeling I get when I complete a program is enough to save it from failure. A D to it, ‘cause I expect more from a teacher who’s led nuclear weapon projects. Third period I’ve got Biology. Mrs. Sparks manages to make the class very entertaining, actually, challenging us by adding creative projects to our units and having an unorthodox assignment style. In this class is Ken, a rich yet absurdly comical Japanese fellow in a trench coat. He’s like Sean, minus the Jesus and adding a gallon of badass. He gets extra points for being the first person here to refer to me as an otaku. Biology gets a B for… biology. Damn I’m witty. After that I’ve got gym. Many of my classmates refer to Mr. Schaper as a gay cowboy. Personally, I like him, even if he does have a funny mustache. He’s actually very down to earth and quite inspiring. I hope I get him next year. Gym features many odd characters, like Ari, one of the coolest Jews I’ve ever met. Nowhere near Erin, though. I’m known here by a multitude of names, including but not limited to Stoner, Dumbass, and the Guy With Little to No Reaction Time Whatsoever. Gym gets a B too. Fifth period is guidance, so I just sit in the Spanglish IV classroom and do my Algebra II homework ‘cause I’m a procrastinating bastard. Jesus, Brian, and that other guy Brian talks to are the highlights of this period, but the whole class overflows with win. Even though they aren’t the best of Spanish speakers, the class is small and very close, like some crazy-ass dysfunctional family. Since I don’t have to do anything and Brian and Other Guy did the coconut scene from “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” in Spanish, I give guidance an A+++. Do they even give those out past 3rd grade? In Algebra II, my teacher is Bruce Campbell with a beer belly and no regret when he confuses the hell out of the preps. Automatic A+. Computer Fundamentals is a lot like Ms. Wilson’s Career Technology class from 6th grade. Easy A and my classmates are amusing, including Christina. Yes, I’m looking at you, Miss Scary Vampire-Loving Law Student. A C for Compy. Now for my final class… Study Skills! Okay, not much of a climax, but Mr. Thompson’s cool. Also, I have FRIENDS!!! OMGWTFBBQ! Zebulon’s On My Grandma! Yeah. Richard, Sam, Henry, Sonja, Christina, the works. Pretty much the only place where I feel part of something. Le woot! So yeah, it gets an S rank. I gave some pretty high rankings. That’s… odd. So yeah, school may be lonely, longing for Kellie and everyone else all the time, but I make the best of it. Now, on to recent events!
The other day in Biology, we were all supposed to stand in front of class and do skits and jokes as part of our unit assignments (the unit being cells and such, just so you know). However, 95% of my class wimped out, leaving only Eani, Daniela, two other girls, and me to stand before the class. What’s surprising is we are the most shy and least talkative people in the classroom. I might be able to blame this on how I went first. See, I never made a point to join a group for a skit, so I was a one-man acting troupe. I did a short skit of an incompetent nucleus controlling a skin cell. I got to use a mock British accent which everyone thought was totally awesome. Then the endoplasmic reticulum comes along, telling him how different organelles are going on strike and plotting to overpower the nucleus and become ruler of the cell, righting the nucleus’s wrongs. One of the most well received lines was this:
Nucleus: And what does the cytoplasm have to say about this?
ER: The cytoplasm does have anything to say. It never has anything to say. We SIT in the cytoplasm.
Nucleus: Well, that’s a bit harsh. Give it a raise!
What follows is the ER hitting, as the narrator put it, “the nucleus with a rather large tuna. The entire skit is filled with many good laughs that only needed basic knowledge of the cell to enjoy greatly. The entire class applauded greatly and Mrs. Sparks commented extremely well on my performance, even saying it was like watching something on the BBC. Now everyone’s telling me to go into theater. That was definitely a highlight of the past week. The self-esteem I got from that one feels really good. In other news, Danny has gotten me into doing a Matrix-based Flash animation, the first web-published film of the Nerdular Gahsplosion Troupe. I still need Calvin’s approval, but I have no doubt it’ll go through. The scene I’m parodying is the cubicle office scene from the beginning of the first film, when Neo has to sneak out of the software company building. Goodies and cameos will be aplenty, including references to every major NGT project (including but not limited to XP5672 and 2005). I can’t wait to pull this one through. I’ll put a lot of work into it and the first chapter of 2005ASO this weekend if all goes well. I think it’s ‘bout time I finish my ranting, for I am quite tired. 39 days ‘til Kellie comes!!! Lance out.
The above rantage is currently posted on Wandering Lance’s My Otaku, Sensuifu’s Livejournal, and Lance’s My Space. Posting of this material anywhere else is prohibited, but why in Kojima’s name would you want to steal a mindless rant from yours truly?

Back to the topic at hand. HAPPY FUCKING HALLOWEEN! CANDY AND WET PANTS FOR ALL!!! I'm gonna be Flannel Ninja, protector of truth, justice, and the Otaku way. *strikes a pose* Pictures pending. I'm just gonna hand candy to the little demons, for my neighborhood scares me and I fear being sued. I finally formed the Pieism Hierarchy, and I'm damn proud. Apparently, Calvin and I are going to declare war against Nomura-san after KHII is out so we may stop the flood of FFVII spinoffs. Cal already beat FFIV & V in a matter of what, two weeks or so? I feel proud of him. Oh yes, teh Arsenal has a new addition - the Pegasus-class assualt carrier Grey Phantom, fully equipped with RGM-79SP and mass-produced Guncannon units, and a bridge crew made up of catgirls in EFSF uniforms. Fucking glee. Also, now I have something to transport the recently developed CCA (Calvin Clone Army). Their purpose is to kick ass and chew bubblegum, but I blew the bubblegum funds on Gundam models, so they can only kick ass. We took out Karl Rove the other day. Major victory on our part. I took it as an opportunity to test the new Pants SUV. It can transform into a tank, complete with nukes and missles and... one of those dashboard hula girls. Calvin made a good point, though - I forgot the cupholder. Before I could unleash justice on his torso, I spilled my frappuccino and the whole thing exploded. Sigmund's fixing the design as we speak, with a couple of cupholders as well. Maybe a frappuccino maker too. That would rock. Well, that's about it. It feels good to do a large update like old times. Peace.
I look cute as a Borg.
Edit: In the end, I was Pantsman of VG Cats fame. The costume kicked ass (minus the fact I couldn't get the trademark boxers on)

There's a ghost in the first floor bathroom. We haven't seen it, but its presence is hard not to recognize, from all the stuff being knocked over, that door constantly locking you in while taking a poo, Jewel's fear of going into the kitchen, and my mom's inability to get a good night's rest, among other things. It explains why no one's lived in here for 5 years. We've been contemplating purchasing the home, but from the looks that he doesn't want us to stay, we're moving out the second our year contract is over. I hate packing. Yup, happy day. I think I'm'a gonna go into the fetal position.
